Israel at Eurosatory 2012
Challenged by shrinking defense budgets and aging equipment, military
forces are required to meet growing asymmetric threats, maintain and
modernize equipment, train personnel and keep their units in high
readiness status. Improving efficiency, utility and performance of the
modern military force will be the highlight of the Israeli pavilion
showcase at EUROSATORY 2012.
Sophisticated intelligence gathering systems, supported by unmanned
systems, coupled with network-centric command, control and
communications (C3) introduce new levels of efficiency for the modern
military forces. Employing high-precision weapons, while avoiding
collateral damage enable smaller forces to dominate the modern
battlefield, empower small forces to effectively perform missions
previously carried out by much larger operations.
These modern and flexible communications systems also allow the military operating in
more cohesive and efficient fists, combining joint forces, civil-military
and international allies as part of multi-national coalition operations.
In the modern military reality, force protection becomes a critical factor,
given the growing asymmetrical and hybrid threat capabilities, including
sophisticated guided missiles, short-range rockets, improvised
explosive charges (IEDs) and mines. Improving existing defensive
capabilities, through affordable, effective personal and vehicle
protection is becoming imperative. Different aspects of force
protection also cover Nuclear, Biological, Chemical and Radiological
defense. Protected mobility, resupply and casualty evacuation, NBC
protection, as well as support for secured transportation and resupply
also require improvements, sustaining forces in the field for
extended missions.
All these, with much more are on display at the Israel Pavilion at
EUROSATORY 2012. Israel's defense companies are ready to
work with you, closely cooperating in order to meet your specific requirements.
